Sculpture ordered for Earth Day.

Anecdote
Vagaries of the profession. One day, a promoter ordered a trophy sculpture for the first Earth Day, which was to be held in Buenos Aires. After I had created two prototypes, the promoter was satisfied and wanted me to sign a contract, one that stipulated that I supply 200 bronzes, for which I would be paid only after the last had been sold! I obviously abandoned the project.
Treatment
Bronze (18in/45.5cm). The skin has a golden patina. The hair and wings are black. The cap is golden and mirror polished. The Earth has patinas of various colours.
