It’s the full moon, known as the Flower Moon

Today, it’s the full moon, known as the Flower Moon, said to be a propitious time to make your wildest wishes come true.

Ahhh… the Moon! How inspiring it is!
Let me introduce you to one of the many sculptures I have made in its honor:

In an imaginary world, two non-gendered figures in a weightless state are seeking moons.
Every time a sculpture is sold, part of me remains attached to the work. Here, I wanted to do more; I wanted to make the piece a sort of talisman. That is why I placed runes in relief on the head of each figure.

Runes are the equivalent of the Roman, Greek, Cyrillic and Hebrew alphabets, but they represent much more than a simple alphabet. “Rune” means “secret”, “mystery” or “hidden”. The word Rune is related to the German raunen, which means “to murmur”, and to the Irish rûn, which means “secret”. The oldest form of this alphabet is known as elder futhark, a named derived from the sound of the first six letters.

The meaning of the runes on the heads of the figures:

First figure:

ANSUR or ANSUZ : Represents divine power, the power of control and creation. It unites the ideas of wisdom, knowledge, reasoning and communication.

EOLH ( cid:clip_image004.jpeg ): Powerful rune. A pledge of protection and spirituality, it symbolizes elevation toward the divine. EOLH also reflects the idea of success through effort.

KEN (cid:clip_image006.jpeg): Lights the way, dissipating the dark shadows of ignorance and giving us greater vision.

Second figure:

UR ( cid:clip_image008.jpeg): Holds physical strength, endurance, courage and a heightened sense of liberty.

WYNN ( cid:clip_image010.jpeg): Linked to a reward, the feeling of happiness, joy and satisfaction, peaceful success and ultimate accomplishment. This rune holds the idea that all is well because we are in complete harmony with life.

DAEG ( cid:clip_image012.jpeg ): Designates the day and is closely associated with light and life.
