Colombine Circus Anthology

# 135 (18 inches/46 cm)

Character from the Commedia dell’arte; Colombine is alternately portrayed as a daughter, wife, mistress, or companion of Pierrot, or as a romantic ingenue teasingly in love with Harlequin. She represents the female gender within this circus anthology. Graceful, with parasol and petticoats, she embarks on dancing on the tightrope.

A delay between the conception of the first four characters and this one has resulted in her being slightly different in size (slightly larger than the others).
