The dream magician is a little bit of a special sculpture. If we are who we are, it is because one day we dreamt. For a project to exist, a dream had to have existed first.
When a child plays with a sailboat, a doll or a rocket, he or she is already projecting possibilities.
The figure is a type of scarecrow magician. The benevolent, smiling young face is very elegant; wearing a top hat, the character has a daisy on his lapel. Straw is spilling out from the sleeves of his frock coat.
With a wave of his hand over a star, he creates an inverted rainbow from which springs a multitude of toys, including a teddy bear, doll, sailboat, ball, kite, rocket and set of blocks.
