Personal order from collector customers.
The customers owned this lovely amethyst. They asked me to design a sculpture using this stone and a diamond they owned.
The figure is holding the diamond at the end of his fingers. He seems to want to let it fall into a torrent flowing below him, whence the title of the piece.
Treatment
Bronze (12in/30.5cm) with black patina on amethyst. The shoulder bag is plated with green and (24 k) gold. The diamond the figure is holding was set by a jeweller.
