A young pregnant woman, happy that she will soon become a mother, is sitting on a rock.
Anecdote
The shape of the geode, round, hollow and striated, reminded me of a pregnant woman’s belly and gave me the idea for this sculpture.
Treatment
Bronze (12in/30,5cm) with black patina on agate.
