The sea – Julien

A quartz geode split in two; the pale gold surface of this quartz geode is smooth like certain shells that the sea washes up onto the beach. On each half, a swimmer is sitting. Julien is wearing an old-fashioned bathing suit. With his left hand, he is holding out a starfish to Nadine (#79).
Anecdote
Simply because the stone spoke of sand and sea.
Treatment
Bronze (7.5in/19cm) with patinas of various colours. This is a unique piece designed especially for the geode. Unique pieces are always more expensive because they alone absorb the production costs.
