A barefooted figure is crossing the desert. He is very cold. His guardian angel is sleeping peacefully at his side. The roles of the guardian and the person he is protecting seem to have been reversed. He is asking God why.
Anecdote
At times, I thought my guardian angel was in training with me.
Treatment
Bronze (8.5in/21.5cm). The man’s skin is gold; his cape is adorned with blue designs on a black background. The cords are polished golden. The angel has a black patina and bluish hair and wings. He is wearing blue boots.
