Full of joy, a young female angel is preparing to follow her lucky star. She is holding the tip of her wing much like a ship’s sail to catch the wind and accelerate her flight. Confident and happy, she is holding her arms open wide and has already left the ground, her right foot on her star. A large ribbon highlights her grace and fluidity.
Anecdote
This sculpture exudes grace. Small in size, it might have had a greater impact had it been larger, but as is, it strikes a chord.
