If Sculpture is the art of giving life to space, then Nicole Taillon ranks among those who accomplish what they were born for. She projects her forms, human or animal, with energy in all the dimensions of the imagination, and, through the bold marriage of contrasting materials, also becomes a painter in volumes.
Her youth and apparent frailty suggest a sort of resurgence of former lives that confer onto her work an ancestral force. She therefore belongs to our era and to all times. For those who can see, there is music in her style of creation.
